Our April Garden

I look into our April garden
A few daffodils brighten an apple tree
The other two await the blossom
A hen pheasant wanders carelessly into the lawn
Freshly cut to welcome the birds
Greenfinch and bluetit survey the work
Nod their approval bird feeder enticing the goldfinches
And a blackbird romances the evening.
