On walking by the Abbey Bridge
I heard a voice singing
It was so soft and beautiful
Commanding me to stop and listen
There sat a beautiful little girl
All in black under the bridge
Her feet dangling towards the water
In rhythm with the song
I approach with caution
Enquiring the name of the song
My own song
To the tune of
SATURDAY NIGHT by THE MISFITS
And I was lost in time.
