I AM AM FROZEN AT THIS SPOT

I am frozen at this spot
Watching death
Thinning the chaffinch
Silencing the aging wren
Terrorizing the weak
There is no mercy in these woods
No room for complacency

I raise my eyes

I raise my eyes

Walk through bent grass

Calm to a standstill

The oak silently nurturing the foetus

Breeze rapping the ringlets of the daffodil

No mind boggling equations

THAT I COULD WALK DOWN RUSTY WAYS

I had a revenue audit the day I wrote this poem and I went for a walk down the canal and I saw

This poem was written on the Jackie Bracken on the thther side with his dog. I was facing the Tax Man. He was facing the field with is phis dog and stick

That I could walk down rusty Ways
Talk to neighbors about my newest happenings
Fill my legs into rubber boots
An old cap and coat
Plough into field of weather grass
Raised a Pheasant
Caution the Hawk
Sink into the abundance of abandoned time

Auto Draft

A PETAL LANDED BESIDE ME

A petal landed beside me
A blessing from a wild rose
Sweet flower
Blending itself into itself
And spreading its heart
Giving itself to giving
Always giving
A journey
Forever a journey
That is you
And always will be you
Searching
Always searching
For a pathway
To Hope
To Joy
To Love

A WREN RUSHED IN

TOGETHER

WATERFALL

I HAVE NO NEED

I have no need
For other gifts
What I have
Is all I need
beside me
Walking the lane
Eating blackberries.

TO WANDER JUST WANDER WHERE SILENCE IS RAMPANT

KATE

A WHISPER OF A BREEZE

A whisper of a breeze

A blackbird sings

A wagtail saunters across the canal

Swans paint Valentines on the still

And all is ready

As I am

For love.
