I went into the morning
To breed in the blackbird
I did not stop
Nor did I listen
To a great crawl scalding the woods
I took my foot into a quick step
Least it’s menace would upset my fragile mind
I hurried to a place where the Blackbird sings
There I stood inhaling his gentle call
Its melody of melodies
Always protecting me
